Xinjiang Encompass is an ideal tour for those who like to explore the full sites of Xinjiang, the biggest province in China, explore the relics on the Silk Road.    

Itinerary
Day 1. Arrival Urumqi
Met and transferred to hotel. Free time to explore this wonderful city.
Overnight in Urumqi 3 star Jinggu Hotel or similar
Meal: D

Day 2. Urumqi/Turpan
Turpan Basin is a key part on the ancient Silk Road, with well preserved ruins and grottos. We will visit Bezklik Grottos, Astana Ancient Tombs, the Ancient City of Jiaohe and Gaochang, Karez Irrigation System, and Sugong Minaret.
-Astana Ancient Tombs: It was a public cemetery 1000 years ago for the citizens of Gaochang Kingdom. You will see dried corpses and tomb paintings.
-Karez Irrigation System: This underground tunnels provide enough water offering to the farmers and their field to support local civilization in the dry and hot oasis.
-Ancient City of Jiaohe: Build on a 30 meter terrace, Jiaohe is a ruin to prove local splendid history.
-Ancient City of Gaochang: It was build in the first century BC. Gaochang has huge city wall and various temples. Unfortunately it was abandoned in the cilvil war of Mongolians.
-Sugong Minaret: Built in 1777, also called Eming Tower, it is a representative of Uyghur architecture.

Day 3. Turpan/Heavenly Lake/Wucaiwan
In the morning take a ride to Heavenly lake, enjoying the stunning scenery there.
In the afternoon move on to Wucaiwan to view the colorful landform.
-Heavenly Lake:Located in the Heavenly Mountain(Tianshan), it has a beautiful mountain view.
-Wucaiwan: It means multi-colored bay, because it has red, blue, yellow etc. various colors presenting in the Kuerbantongute Desert.

Day 4. Wucaiwan/Fuyun
Take a ride to Keketuohai, to view the Keketuohai National Geography Park.
-Keketuohai National Geography Park: Numerous rocks, trees and animals in the national park, famous for its imposing scenery.

Day 5. Fuyun/Buerjin
Head for Buerjin by coach Buerjing is small town by Ertix River.
We will visit Multicolored Bay near Buerjin

Day 6. Buerjin/Hemu
Head for Hemu, a Kazak village in the Artay mountain.
Free time to explore this original village in the afternoon.
-Hemu: A small Mongolian village in the Altai Mountain, has incredible original life style and mountain sight.

Day 7. Hemu/Kanas
Take a ride to Kanas, where the picturesque Kanas Lake will impress you profoundly.
-Kanas: The lake has different colors in different seasons, yellow, blue and green, to present picturesque site.

Day 8. Kanas-Klamayi
Take long ride to Klamayi, visit the famous Ghost City near Klamayi, which is a Yardan landform. The clay was formed by wind into different shapes like birds, lions, humans etc.
-Ghost City: The clay land formed by wind to different formats, birds, animals, humans etc. Local legend says that the ghosts are yelling in the night here, hence it has got the name Ghost City.

Day 9. Klamayi-Bole
Take a ride to Bole.
Visit Valleys of Fantastic Rocks in the afternoon.
- Valleys of Fantastic Rocks: Near Bole city, there are various rocks with incredible formats.

Day 10. Bole/Yinin
Head to Khorgos by coach, visit the border between China and Kazakhstan. Afterwards move to Yinin.

Day 11. Yining/Narati
Take a ride to Narati Grassland where you will view the grass on the hight mountain to feed horses, sheep, cows.

Day 12. Narati/Bayingbuluk
Take a ride to Bayingbuluke Grassland where you have opportunity to view the wild swan. The impressive Kaidu River running on the grassland is a must-see here.

Day 13. Bayingbuluk/Kuerle
Drive throughout the hight mountains to Kuerle. On the way visit the famous Huang Temple, belongs to Tibetan Buddhism.
-Huang Temple: It means Yellow Temple, one of the four biggest  Tibetan Buddhism temples, is for local Mongolians to warship Buddha here.

Day 14. Kuerle/Kuqa
Take a ride to Kuqa, visit Subash Ruin, which was a famous temple in Tang Dynasty.  
-Subash Ruin: Very big monastery in Tang Dynasty, 7th century, described by Monk Xuanzang when he travelled here as the most impressive monastery in Western Region.

Day 15. Kuqa
view Kizil Grottos which is one of the earliest caves in Xijiang. Moreover, we will visit Tianshan Grand Valley to enjoy the picturesque scenery.
-Kizil Grottos: It was the first grottos built in China, which can be traced back 2000 years ago, with many Buddhism stories telling people to follow Buddha.

Day 16. Kuqa/Hetian
Today we will take a long ride from Kuqa to Hetian, traveling along the Taklamagan Desert Highway.

Day 17. Hetian/Kashgar
Visit Hetian Bazzar, and Paper Mill in the morning.
In the afternoon, take a ride to Kashgar.

Day 18. Kashgar
It is a busy day, you will see the well-known Sunday Bazaar, Animal Market, Apa Hojia Tomb, Idkar Mosque, old town of Kashgar.
-Sunday Bazaar: It was said this is the biggest market in the world, you can purchase all products apart from your parents.
-Idkar Mosque: It is the biggest mosque in Xinjiang. The mosque with its square is for local Uyghurs to pray.
-Apa Hoja Tombs: It is a family cemetery, with stunning blue tiles shining in the sun.

Day 19. Kashgar/Karakul Lake/Tashkuergan
Catch a coach to the Karakul Lake which is situated by the China-Pakistan friendship highway, with a stunning snow covered mountain view.
Move on to Tashkurgan that is situated at the border between China and Pakistan.
-Karakul Lake: Beautiful mountain lake with altitude nearly 3800 meters, has impressive scenery with the snow-covered mountains.

Day 20. Tashkuergan/Kashgar
After sightseeing the Stone City in Tashkuergan, return Kashgar.
-Stone City: Built 2000 years ago, the ruin still can trace back its original style.

Day 21. Depart from Kashgar
Transferred to the airport to catch flight heading home.
